Oriana — Running content operations

Oriana is where we test how AI can support content operations without adding hidden review burden. The real work is running a content calendar, publishing across channels, repurposing material, and tracking versions.

The work before

Much of the work was manual scheduling, reformatting for each channel, version tracking, and repetitive metadata entry.

Where human effort goes

Editorial strategy, story selection, channel decisions, and final publish decisions.

What AI takes on

Drafting social cuts from longer pieces, reformatting content for channels, suggesting metadata, and preparing scheduling drafts.

Review and judgment

Accuracy, tone, channel fit, and timing are checked before anything is published. Which stories to tell, their priority, and the final publish decision remain human.

Analytical lens

Evidence and what is unproven

Publishing rhythm is more consistent. Output volume has increased. Less time is spent on reformatting. What remains unproven is long-term audience trust when AI-assisted content volume increases.

What we are learning

More automation can create more review work if the workflow is poorly designed. Review must scale with output.
